Colciencias provides scholarships and funding to scientists for projects involving a Colombian component.  So farfunding has been granted for two PhDs and two Junior researchers. Juan Carlos Silva-Tamayo is currently funded a US$ !00.000 to study ocean acidification and de-oxygenation in the Jurassic-Cretaceous transition.
