Petrography and Vitrinite Reflectance
Our Carbonate and Mudstone Petrography Lab counts with a variety of microscopes that allow:
1. Standard petrographic analyses (reflected/transmited light)
2. Vitrinite reflectance analysis
3. Microfossil analysis using dark field transmited light
4. Inspection of samples using reflected light
5. Determination of organic matter fluorescence.

Sulfur isotope and Fe speciation
Our sulfur isotope and Fe speciation preparation lab counts with several equiptments that allow
1. Step leaching extraction of Carbonate Asociated Sulfates (CAS) - Four Ika magnetic stearres, diverse glassware, one IKA incubator. The Ika incubator is also used ofr temperature controled Fe speciation
2. Chromium reductible sulfide sulfur extraction (CRS) - A digital multi extraction mantle.
3. A Thrermo-scientific fournace for tearing organic matter samples.
